Momo by Grasshopper

momograsshopper.jpg

This is actually last October’s news but the prefab is beautiful and worth writing about. The Swedish studio Grasshopper designed a modular prefab house called Momo that’s possible to assemble in many ways using the 10 m2 modules. You can chose between 13 different solid wood facades (exterior walls) and 5 different interior walls. The huge sail roof makes the house special and covers the terrace. I love the look of it but I’m apprehensive about its safety as far as earthquakes are concerned and going airborne when harsh winds would blow. It’s OK Momo don’t cry, the cuteness of your name makes it all better.

Happy Birthday LEGO, I Love You!

legolunchattop.jpg

The truly inspirational LEGO brick is celebrating its 50th birthday today along with their Minifig, the tiny little LEGO person, that turns 30. They triggered imaginations of millions of children around the world and I can honestly say that they impacted my early years immensely. They started off as a small company in Denmark owned by Ole Kirk Christiansen and after mid 40’s they become what is known today as The LEGO Group or let’s fairly call them the kings of my childhood’s little colorful world. So tillykke med fødselsdagen LEGO, I have so much love for you! :*

By the way, Baribe’s got nothing on you.
