Cambridge-based, kyu sung woo architects recently unveiled the completed new nerman museum of contemporary art in overland park, kansas. The museum is located on the campus of johnson county community college and houses works by a number of contemporary artists. The new building is clad in limestone and glass and features a 22 ft. cantilevered main gallery space which is accented with a light installation by artist leo villareal. The minimalist building aims to continually connect the interior to the large green-space outside and act as a catalyst for integrating art into the daily happenings of the campus.
