Lounge chair was designed by the futuristic German industrial designer Luigi Colani in 1968. The shell is wrapped in quality fabric and nested in a chrome-plated steel frame. The organic form offers maxiumu comfort ”for both the young and the young at heart who like a dash of extravagance” (original text from ‘68). ”The earth is round, all the heavenly bodies are round; they all move on round or elliptical orbits.
